There's no doubt, that accessories play an important role in fashion. First of all selling bags, shoes etc. is the real business in the industry, but if we see them less materially, they can totally change the overall picture, and embrace self- (or mood) expression.

I really loved when Starbucks has finally made its runway debut, thanks to Dsquared2 Fall 2009 Ready to Wear show. It really emerged into the cheapest "it" accessoires piece since it became a must have for paparazzi, or street style shots. Despite McDonald's McCafe was the official sponsor of NYC fashion week, it didn't stop celebs from schlepping in their Starbucks lattes.

(I just have to stop here, and tell you a secret; I'm totally NOT into the actual coffee they offer, so I'd encourage you to skip starbucks if it's not about being cool, just having a pretty good coffee...)

Mermaid.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE spring. When the sun starts shining and people sunbathing.

That's why I decided to spend some days at seashore, to relax and to feel the touch of the summer.

Honestly, I was always envious of mermaids, because they can spend their whole life in the beautiful sea. With this skirt, I tried to feel myself like them, but it wasn't as easy as I thought.

World of Gold

I would like to introduce you into my gold life. Of course not in the literal sense of the word, but I'd like to show you my gold favourites.

It's absolutely not a beauty blog, beauty topics can not be neglected when we're talking about fashion, and I want to widen the horizon of the blog constantly.

(I'm aware of the anti-coolness of speaking in clichés, but I feel neccessary to note here: all that glitters are not gold! In my fashion fantasy, gold is more likely mood than substance. )

Last Season is this Season

The off colours of this dress (and the greyish photos) may reminds you of the passing season, but I wanted to express the mood of transition and I felt it would be too optimistic to put on a floral, colour blocked spring summer look yet (well, on the other hand the proprtion is quite like I'm-ready-for-a-pool party...NOW)
